Samantha provides a thriving social scene during post-apocalyptic Bluffington Beach. She runs a Bar, and barters for items with those who come in from outside the city. She provides a motherly presence for her biological and adoptive kids.
Prior to the events in Dream Askew, she was dating The Augur, Providence, but her attention was too divided between The Augur and taking care of the community, and their relationship fell apart.
She is described as having a warm face and quick hands. When seen in Dream Askew, she wears a stained apron and stilettos.
