Glint or glintcoin is the proprietary currency of Arbitrage, marketed as the future of commerce. Glint has a fairly high value (5 glint is "expensive" for a bribe), though not as high as bitcoin in the real world.[1]
It was initially provided through an app called The Divine, Arbitrage to easy marks aboard the Brink such as Mustard Red and Joe de Vivre. Along with initial sign-on bonuses and rewards, the app gave access to Arbitrage's network, where a variety of goods and services could be purchased.[2]
On Palisade, glint is a major currency. It is effectively impossible to buy something that has not gone through the glint network at some point. A YourGlint account is required in order to access public services in Baseline cities (such as bathroom passes).[1]
