Somerset House is a estate house owned by the Solstice family. Its location hidden deep in the mountains and forests of Kalliope makes it easily defensible, though also difficult to reach with outside aid. It is surrounded by gardens, including a 'wild' garden of pine woods and a large hedge maze.
Dark rumors connect it to the capture of a Branched long ago.

In fact, Somerset House is a Branched who has been forcibly imprisoned in this shape. The Branched in question, Thalia, is freed by Guilford Gain, Laris, Leah, and Laurice on behalf of Millennium Break when they remove a perfect scale model of Somerset House from the basement, resulting in the collapse and near-total destruction of the house (except for furnishings that were brought in from outside).
