Eileen Lilas is one of the maids for the Solstice family. She is cheeky and her goal is to improve Somerset House's reputation. She resembles "Elaine from Seinfeld when she's wearing glasses", has big, pinned-back hair and wears professional dress. Janine also suggested some of suzushiro333's art of maids skateboarding as inspiration.

Eileen was close to the Solstice family's youngest daughter Catrina Solstice when the two were younger, but they have grown apart in recent years as Catrina has taken up a larger role in the household. She is very close with fellow worker Martine Sprue.

When Exanceaster March visits the Solstice House, Eileen is among the staff to discover the bomb that his bodyguard Guilford Gain intends to detonate. She works with the other staff to prevent this, and when she discovers Millennium Break's involvement she tries to warn Catrina away from the house and away from her family. Catrina herself does end up staying with the family after the incident - getting credit for helping save them, but she goes on to receive revolutionary literature from former coworker Vivian Exler.
