Fortitude is a Divine.
COUNTER/Weight[edit | edit source]
It takes the form of a phalanx of shielded riggers, like robotic riot cops. As such, it has some other pilots besides its candidate Gerenuk, but Gerenuk has the largest armor. The armor resembles that of Ordinators from Morrowind. The facial area is decorated with a face or mask, which has retained the same image since before Gerenuk became a candidate.
It is stationed on Gemm for the majority of the show. It takes part in "A Splintered Branch, A Ringing Bell Pt. 3", where it and its candidate are destroyed by the Rigour-controlled Amira Kiani.
PALISADE[edit | edit source]
Fortitude is a Divine of the Principality during this era.[note 1] It controls hundreds of tanky, heavy gunships as well as a power suit not much bigger than a human, which contains its elect Acacia.
It attempts to persuade Fealty and Veronique to turn their information over to the Principality, but when they continue to refuse enters into combat with them, causing Fealty to flee. During a second encounter on the border of the Twilight Mirage, it once again attempts to negotiate, this time asking Fealty and Veronique to let Curtain forces follow after them, which leads to a second battle.
