Koda Whitegloves is an Apostolosian native to Counterweight who served as a medic for Apostolos in the Golden War. "Unfortunately, they were left behind, and their medical license is no longer recognized. Their skill, however, is."[1] Cass served as a medic under their command during the war, and remains loyal to them.
Their adjectives are tall, practiced, and stubborn; Austin elaborates by saying that rather than being tall, they have tall features, comparing them to Egon Spengler as he appears in the Ghostbusters animated series, but "kind of like a fish person".[2] They wear a form-fitting white uniform with shiny silver buttons.[3]
Despite the difficulties with their license described in "If Han Solo Used To Be Beyoncé...", they still run a medical clinic in Centralia. They apparently have some issues with money owed to other Apostolosians, which might have something to do with the Netted Wave, although this is never fully explored.[3]
Koda helps treat Aria's injuries in "The Bells Are Ringing" and supplies her with a prosthetic. They convince Cass to give the Gnosis Virus to Apostolos[4] and later to attend their parent's funeral.[5]

- ↑ When Apostolosians were created in the COUNTER/Weight worldbuilding episode, their society's gender system was binary by default. The Apostolosian gender and pronoun system was invented and elaborated as play continued, and because of this after-the-fact retcon, Apostolosian characters during COUNTER/Weight are often referred to with binary pronouns. In later seasons, Apostolosians are more consistently referred to with "they" pronouns (unless they specifically choose to use others), and it has become standard practice both by cast and fandom to apply these pronouns to COUNTER/Weight-era Apostolosians as well, even if those pronouns weren't consistently used at time of production.
