PALISADE is the eighth full season of Friends at the Table and the fourth full season of the Divine Cycle. A direct sequel to PARTIZAN, it focuses on the planet of Palisade, where the Divine Principality's Bilateral Intercession attempts to invade the Twilight Mirage and a coalition of rebels and revolutionaries attempts to stop them.

Continuity[edit | edit source]

PALISADE begins in the year 1429 PM, picking up five years after the events of PARTIZAN left off. It is preceded by the interstitial mini-season Road to PALISADE, a series of games in different systems which establish changes in the state of the galaxy after PARTIZAN's finale. Unlike previous installments in the Divine Cycle, both Road to PALISADE and PALISADE spoil and make explicit reference to the events of preceding seasons: COUNTER/Weight, Twilight Mirage, Road to PARTIZAN, and PARTIZAN.

  • Touchstones include Escaflowne and Elden Ring.[2]
  • This season's episode descriptions feature lyrics of songs from Austin's PALISADE playlist, which he adds to as the episodes release.
