Conviction is a Divine of Stel Kesh. Her Elect is Amaryllis.

Appearance[edit | edit source]

Conviction looks like a caped knight in bulky golden armor, with slightly equine features. She carries a large pneumatic lance, and may have a centaur mode that she can use on land.

Personality[edit | edit source]

As the embodiment of conviction, Conviction does not easily change her mind or go back on her promises.

History and Involvement[edit | edit source]

Conviction and Amaryllis intercept Véronique, Fealty, and their flotilla, who are on the run from Curtain forces and attempting to flee into the Twilight Mirage. While Amaryllis speaks to Véronique, Conviction warns Fealty that their plan will put the people of the Mirage in danger. When this argument fails to convince Fealty not to enter the Mirage, Conviction asks Fealty to destroy her, because she knows that if Fealty tries to enter the Mirage the Principality will send her after them and "here, only one of us will die."

Fealty and Véronique decline to destroy her. She and Amaryllis leave them to continue carrying out their plan.

Quotes[edit | edit source]

I adopted the Principality because, in my perspective, it was... the most stable form. It was... it was the shape we kept returning to anyway. And I will defend that with my life.

– Conviction, "HOUNDs Pt. 2"
