The Bilateral Intercession is the faction of the Divine Principality which intends to maintain the empire in its historical form, contrary to the goals of its enemy faction the Pact of Free States. Led by Cynosure Whitestar-Kesh. It was previously known as the Curtain, and like the Curtain takes its membership mainly from Stels Nideo and Kesh. The Bilats "wield their control on culture, religion, and history as a weapon".[1]
Cynosure, the Peaceful Princept, led an ongoing civil coup of the Curtain in the years after the breakout of galactic civil war in the Principality. Two years after the Principality began invading Palisade, he rebranded the faction and the Curtain's extensive spy network became nothing more than a tool for the Bilats.
