The Road to PARTIZAN, previously called the Road to Season Six, is a miniseries of 11 episodes played in a variety of systems and designed to cover the political developments that take place between the end of Twilight Mirage and the beginning of PARTIZAN. The games were originally played as episodes of Live at the Table which ran from December 2018[1] to August 2019.[2] They were later edited and released in the main feed from October[3] to December 2019[4] with in-character introductions and a theme song written specifically for the series.
Episodes[edit | edit source]
Dialect[edit | edit source]
The two part "Dialect" episode details the story of the Hyphan fleet, a nomadic group which follows the Strand across space, being colonized by the Divine Principality.
Armour Astir[edit | edit source]
The two part "Armour Astir" episode follows a semi-apocryphal tale of a group of pilots loyal to the Divine Perennial attempting to disable, destroy, or take over a device at the centre of the galaxy that can produce near-endless energy.
Ech0 & Dusk to Midnight[edit | edit source]
"Ech0 & Dusk to Midnight" is an episode featuring two different games, both detailing the Divine Clash. The first half of the episode, played using Ech0, explores the conflict's aftermath through the story of the ghost of a dead pilot being reunited with their mech by a group of young children. The second half of the episode, played in Dusk to Midnight, is set in the conflict's early days and follows four pilots as they navigate their careers, deal with their own beliefs about the war, and oppose the Principality.
Beam Saber[edit | edit source]
The two part "Beam Saber" episode is a direct sequel to the "Dusk to Midnight" episode centring around the Divine Clash.
For the Queen[edit | edit source]
"For the Queen" follows the journey of the retinue of the Apokine as they travel to meet with leaders of the Divine Principality.
Microscope[edit | edit source]
The two-part "Microscope" episode creates a high level outline of the time leading up to, and the early days of, the Divine Principality. It acts as an overview of the previous Road to PARTIZAN episodes and also fills in many details of other events in that timeline.
