Episode description[edit | edit source]
There is, apparently, no time for rest. An opportunity emerges: With Kesh in chaos on the planet and Nideo not yet in proper posture, the Grav Trains which run through the Diadem and which vein across Palisade’s continents could be brought under Millennium Break control. And so the Blue Channel launches again, but not before dropping off their latest asset, a detective determined to uncover the secret of the new power stations scattered across the planet.

Plot[edit | edit source]
A-Plot: Carmathen[edit | edit source]
The party has once again split to pursue two separate missions. Most of the Blue Channel crew—Brnine, Cori, Figure, Thisbe, Midnite, Hunt, and Palisade—heads to Carmathen, seeking to gain control of the Diadem Gravtrain. They perform an air assault on the railway roundhouse, planning to take the base and defend it while members of the party descend into the "inverted tower" beneath it.
B-Plot: Baseline-C[edit | edit source]
On the way to Carmathen, the Blue Channel drops Eclectic off at Baseline-C so that he can investigate the Frontier Syndicate's Motion factories. As he explores the city's streets, he notices a person in a trench coat who is carrying an attaché case and moving like he doesn't want to be seen. Eclectic dons a disguise and follows the person into a gas station's bathroom. Inside, the suspicious person coughs meaningfully from inside a stall, then asks if Eclectic is going to take a seat. Eclectic goes into the stall next to his and sits down. The camera pans into the next stall to reveal Riah Connadine, sitting fully clothed on the toilet, holding an attaché case.
