The Paint Shop is a manufactory and front for the Bilateral Intelligence Service on Palisade. It is located atop the central peak of the mountain Steeple Catterick,[1] northeast of the Temple of the Threshold and north of Greenfield.[2]
Appearance[edit | edit source]
The Paint Shop is a labyrinthine castle. Its vibe is a cross between Castle Gormenghast, Anor Londo, and the German castles located in the Alps.[1] To outsiders, it appears to be a bohemian artist's colony or workshop.[2] Somewhere inside it is a brainwashing room.

The Paint Shop serves as the BIS' base of operations on Palisade. In the year 1429 PM, Riah Connadine, the local BIS leader, announces Adagio in G, the Bilateral Intercession's grand plan for Palisade, from the Paint Shop.[1]
The Adagio proceeds according to plan until the galaxy's stellar combustors are all taken offline permanently by members of the Blue Channel. When this happens, the BIS loses much of its power on Palisade and Stel Kesh puts the Paint Shop is put under lockdown.[3] Not long thereafter, Connadine betrays the Paint Shop: he makes a deal granting the Divine, Arbitrage access to the Paint Shop's brainwashing room,[4] and leaks key intel about the Paint Shop to Millennium Break.[5]
Trivia[edit | edit source]
