Eversin is a small town in the Bontive Valley on Palisade.
A part of the Bontive Valley, Eversin is a foggy and isolated town. It has a market square, a clinic, and a large arch that predates the town, pointed at a place where the townsfolk assume there used to be some sort of structure.
History and Involvement[edit | edit source]
When the Curtain arrive on Palisade Eversin is one of the towns pillaged by their soldiers, taking food and medical supplies from the town. They leave Lishan Charles as their Seneschal in the area, putting her on the hook for any trouble that might arise from rebellious townsfolk or other outside groups. In addition Curtain forces have implemented a system for managing local infrastructure where townsfolk must report any required repairs or upkeep to the Curtain, who will schedule, prioritize, and perform the repairs themselves. Failure to report needed repairs, or attempts to make "unauthorized" repairs, are considered grounds for retaliation from the Curtain.
Millennium Break first arrives at Eversin in the form of the BigStar★'s crew. While the Seneschal does learn about their presence, she is convinced to look the other way to so the crew can provide some much needed aid. They assist with the local clinic, and make repairs to the marketplace with a plausible cover story to keep the Curtain from retaliating.
