This is why you're doomed to lose. Because you only fight for yourself whereas I fight for everyone.

– Co'rina, Last Shooting

Cor'rina Corrine is an ace pilot for the Pact's Onyx Squadron.

Personality

They're an idealist and believe in the mission of the Pact to "protect" Palisade from outside influence by influencing it from the outside. Cor even has a catchphrase: "For our homes and the homes of all."

History and Involvement

Cor'rina has encountered Miseri multiple times on the battlefield, and cor once freed him when he was captured.

The Road to PALISADE

Two of their squadmates, Alex and Iso'dora, were killed during the conflict for the Palisade Portcullis, leaving Cor'rina with a reputation as a liability on the battlefield.

Cor mech, the Panta Rhei, is a prototype model, painted lily white with two bloody "gashes" across its chest. The Panta Rhei is highly maneuverable, with micro propulsors on each limb. Its Split-Soul Prognosis System allows Cor'rina to wield both a ranged and melee weapon, one in each hand. It carries the Auroran Fire (which shoots to interrupt incoming projectiles) and a shield. The shield was once Iso'dora's; Cor'rina can spin it around the Panta Rhei to block from every direction.

In Corrine's third duel against Misericorde over Palisade a combination of the Perennial Wave and the Twilight Mirage leaves them as the only two combatants on the field. The two fight until they are both impaled together on the last sword of the Firmament Mk 3, and crash together into Palisade below them, protected by the Panta Rhei's shield on re-entry. When cor lands on Palisade Corrine remains dedicated to cor mission of protecting Palisade from the Curtain, working with Misericorde reluctantly as the two try and survive on the planet.

PALISADE

Alongside Misericorde, cor puts together a "surgical, anti-Bilat hit squad" known as STEREOMA.[1][note 1]

Footnotes

  1. The spelling/stylization of STEREOMA is confirmed in the episode description for PALISADE episode 21.
