Braunton is a casino town in the Shale Belt on Palisade.
Formerly an old mining town, Braunton changed its main industry when the resources in its mine dried up. The town itself is on a plateau where it is often overcast and dark. There are many people there trying to find the next big thing or business venture as they try and build out new industry.
History and involvement
When The Curtain arrived on Palisade, Brantun became a popular destination for off-duty soldiers. While it was once home to its own rebellion, they were violently put down by Curtain forces.[1]
Millennium Break first arrives in Braunton in the form of the BigStar★'s crew, who work on building community connections in a large dinner where they lean about the strong worker culture underlying the town. They work with the townsfolk to restore the old mine into a shelter that can be used to stay safe in times of violence, as well as to stockpile food and supplies away from the eyes of the Curtain. The excerpt Wine calls upon Bounty to make things grow in the caves to support the people using them. Gastone Ol'D'Cassino, the mayor of Braunton, has the agents of Millennium Break kicked out of town after framing them for theft, but the townsfolk remain friendly with them, and they part on good terms.
