Earth is the birthplace of human civilization. Humans in various societies across the Milky Way trace their origins back to Earth.
History
Earth holds symbolic importance to the members of the New Earth Hegemony, also known as the Earth Cult, who udertook the massive project of moving the planet from its previously known location in the Sol system to one in the center of the Milky Way.
Apostolosians, as offshoot of humanity, originally hail from Earth, specifically claiming (at least during COUNTER/Weight) to be descendants of Atlantis.
Pregoria Prilt claimed that around 5,000 years before "Serious Reading", sea levels rose and 'Earth Germany' flooded, becoming "a pretty hard place to live". After it recovered, hamburgers were invented.[1]
