Personality
Joe is a skeazeball crypto bro who is being fleeced by the Divine, Arbitrage. Like Mustard, he doesn't seem to be aware that the word 'Divine' in Arbitrage's name is not a joke.
He thinks Calciyummm bars are gross.[1]
History and Involvement
Joe helps Mustard manually reset the gravity around the Brink after the Orchard Syndicate carries out a heist of the station's gravity linchpin. He's happy to help because it gives him an opportunity to case all sorts of places on the station and figure out ways to rob them. When Paris tries to warn Mustard not to accept the helpful little deal Arbitrage offers her, Joe argues with Paris and encourages Mustard to accept it; it sounds like a good deal to him, and he's really excited about glint.[1]
Mustard also has Joe tail a Devotee to help her locate Toaster Wroaster. When Kengine Engine invites her to a Devotee retreat, Mustard brings Joe along.[2]
Joe blows one of Lament's covers after Mustard walks in on her trying to set off a detonator in Mustard's office: Lament has introduced herself to Mustard as Latent Peach, but Joe walks in and recognizes her as Deutsch Synchro.[3]
