The Weaver Union is a group of city-dwelling weavers led by Hedy Braum who petition for social acceptance and better living and working conditions in Marielda.
Relations[edit | edit source]
In their push for better socioeconomic conditions in Marielda, the Weaver Union allied itself with the Black Slacks and the cobbins of Black Sand Alchemical.
Weavers such as those of the Weaver Union who want to live and work in the city's society are viewed with disdain or outright hostility by those living in Quince Parish and the Western Woods, especially by the more extreme group known as the Gardeners.
Even among city dwellers, many weavers are not willing to join the union, preferring to keep their heads down and avoid any retaliation that organizing may incur.
