PALISADE is the 8th season of Friends at the Table, and a direct sequel to PARTIZAN (taking place five years later in-universe). The season is played in Armour Astir: Advent. Its title was announced alongside the Road to PALISADE.[1]
PALISADE is preceded by the interstitial season Road to PALISADE, a series of games in different systems which established changes in the state of the galaxy in the years after PARTIZAN.
The season focuses on the planet of Palisade—from which the Divine Principality's Bilateral Intercession attempts to invade the utopian Twilight Mirage—and the rebels and revolutionaries attempting to stop them. Touchstones include Escaflowne and Elden Ring.[2]
PALISADE is the first season since COUNTER/Weight to feature a ground game and a faction game, with Jack and Art featuring as participants in the faction game.
