The Nobel are a people who live beyond Partizan in the Scutum-Centaurus arm of the Milky Way, which a past Princept declared was not to be colonized or even explored.
The majority of Nobel worship the same God as the Disciples of Logos, though the specifics of each faith remain unique.[1]

Nobel are gaseous beings who often use mechanical bodies in order to interact with other sorts of people. They "weren't always gas without bodies", which Valence implied has to do with their history with the sometimes-vengeful True Divine.[1]
Valence originated from this people and culture and sought to find answers for an attack upon the Nobel years ago that came from the Principality. They eventually learned this was an attack by the Pact of Necessary Venture.
Kal'mera Broun was given the coordinates to the Nobel homeworld by Valence along with their spaceship the Blue Channel.
