Audacious Opportunity Rooke, or A.O., is the son of Kueen Overture Rooke and a member of the Rapid Evening. He is young, boisterous, and loyal.

Austin's facecast for A.O. is the rapper Mikey More.
In "A Palace During a Wake", he wears a very fine looking tuxedo in two different shades of black, with a black shirt and a black tie, a top hat, and a cane. During the evacuation of Oxbridge he wears tight black jeans, a tank top, an M65 military jacket, and sunglasses, though he's only wearing the jacket and sunglasses because they won't fit in his luggage.[1]

Origins[edit | edit source]
A.O. was a young freelance mercenary operating under Stel Orion charter before being captured by Stel Kesh on an assignment deep behind enemy lines. When he would not give Kesh the name of his employer, he was forced into prison service for the Rapid Evening as part of (and commander of) their infantry division.[2]
PARTIZAN[edit | edit source]
After assisting the Rapid Evening party with several missions, A.O. becomes an ace pilot for Millennium Break in the legendary Panther, working as a member of Big SBBR and later alongside the Swordbreakers.
PALISADE[edit | edit source]
A.O. appears only briefly in PALISADE, where he is seen working alongside his mother on Partizan. When the Perennial Wave surges unexpectedly and dangerously, K.O. directs A.O. to safety just in time to keep him from being hurt.[3]
