| We are introduced (and re-introduced) to the PCs on the crew of the Blue Channel: Kalvin Brnine, The Figure in Bismuth, Coriolis Sunset, Phrygian, and Thisbe. They are on a mission to find the Fundament node at the bottom of the Diadem. Chasing a Twill woman toward the Fundament node, they magically encounter four Bilat mechs in battle against a wyvern. Coriolis and Phrygian enter the fight and battle the mechs. | ||||

| Cori and Phrygian defend the village from the combatants. Thisbe, Brnine, and the Figure meet Veston Vicinity and Kriminel Kollage, who are attempting to resurrect the Divine Palisade. Their plan fails and they instead create the Delegate Partial Palisade. Brnine uses the Fundament node to sabotage Bilateral supply shipments, and offers the Twill passage aboard the Blue Channel. | ||||

| It's downtime for the Blue Channel crew. Thisbe helps the Twill get settled aboard the ship, and Phrygian helps Thisbe fix a water filter. The Figure in Bismuth attempts to bond with Partial Palisade. Coriolis goes back to the battlefield for her cape and gets Thisbe to photograph her doing a Devotee salute. Phrygian overhears Gucci Garantine telling Brnine about a secret "hit and run" plan. | ||||

Meanwhile, at the masquerade, Brnine and Phrygian realize that the Blue Channel was used as bait. Phrygian is interrogated by a soldier while Brnine anxiously listens in. Just before they leave, August Righteousness presents Brnine and Phrygian with handmade gifts from Kalar Anakalar. | ||||

| Three operatives from the Frontier Syndicate traverse a system of caves beneath Braunton on a mission to harvest a Fundament node. They discover first that the "cave network" is an ancient underground city, and second that it is full of invisible minotaurs. They successfully grant the Frontier access to harvest the Fundament node and escape mostly unscathed. | ||||

| Stargrave Elcessor sends her hunter to recover the body of The Usher of Truth. The mission fails and the hunter is taken hostage by Carmine Bight.
