Martine is close with the Solstice family, and her goal is to impress an important guest from [[Exanceaster March]]'s group when they come to visit. Martine has a mutual resentment with [[Vivian Exler]], and is very close with the house maid [[Eileen Lilas]]. She maintains the family's mechs - including the expensive hunting mech of the often-absent matriarch [[Crevera Solstice]].

She successfully disarms the bomb, and when Exler pulls the fire alarm and tells Martine that this is a Millennium Break plan, Marine gets in one of the family's firefighting mechs. She gets credit for saving the family, and Exanceaster offers her a job at the [[March Anecdatist Foundation]] which she happily accepts. She does grow sour on the position however, as the reality of cleaning bloodstains out of the fighting mechs begins to dawn on her.|theme=pal}}

Martine is close with the Solstice family, and her goal is to impress an important guest from Exanceaster March's group when they come to visit. Martine has a mutual resentment with Vivian Exler, and is very close with the house maid Eileen Lilas.
