The Qui Err Coalition is a coalition of Qui Err people, eventually joined by other peoples throughout the Quire system. It is led by Iota Pretense and Solemn Scale for most of its time in Twilight Mirage.

Twilight Mirage[edit | edit source]
The Coalition has its roots in a few thousand Qui Err who were cloned by the Sky Reflected in Mirrors and lived on Moonlock; they created the Qui Err Assembly with Iota Pretense as their leader and Annex. Carrying the memory of Independence's genocide, their goal was to get their land back and prevent further occupation by colonial powers.[1]
A larger group of Qui Err later joined with the Assembly to create the Coalition. They were created by a utopian alternate-history dream of the planet Quire itself.[2] They were largely centered in Parhelia and led by Solemn Scale, but with groups throughout Skein organized based on ecological region.[3]
Soon after the creation of Parhelia and the Qui Err Coalition's formation, the Assembly successfully relaunched the Sky Reflected in Mirrors and retook Moonlock, while the Parhelian faction of the Coalition spread its communities across Skein.[3] The Coalition continued to be a power in the system for the rest of the season.
In the finale of Twilight Mirage, Gig Kephart and Echo Reverie were representatives of the Qui Err Coalition and part of its early leadership council alongside Iota Pretense, Solemn Scale, and Vanya de la Vega. The Qui Err Coalition became the primary governing body in the Twilight Mirage. However, Iota eventually resigned, and the other councilors followed suit, allowing their communities to be organized more cooperatively.
PALISADE[edit | edit source]
As of PALISADE, the Qui Err Coalition remains the de facto government of the Twilight Mirage.[4] General Mourning is a military commander of the group.
