Ebullience is an Axiom which first appeared in "The Miracle of the Mirage: The Dragon".

Appearance[edit | edit source]

Ebullience is energetic and vibrating. It is in constant motion and constantly changing, "humanoid for a moment then something like an animal and then geometric shapes",[1] sometimes pausing as if to taunt onlookers with its ability to take new forms.

In PALISADE, a marble of Ebullience is part of the exterior of "Building C" of the Lone Marble Group campus in the form of a cascading drop of mercury which visitors must pass through to enter the building.[2]

History and Involvement[edit | edit source]

Twilight Mirage[edit | edit source]

A team which included ⸢Signet⸣, Belgard, and Grand Magnificent encountered Ebullience on Volition while seeking out Independence. Grand prompted it to mimic his drawings, which culminated in tricking it into turning into marbles. Belgard trapped the majority of the marbles, while Grand secreted away a few in his pocket. From then on he was "always just playing with those marbles",[1] although they were never plot relevant again in the season.

PALISADE[edit | edit source]

The Lone Marble Group campus was built around one marble of Ebullience recovered from an old Advent facility where it was casually left behind by Grand Magnificent. There, Ebullience was used as one component of the internal security system.[2]
