Midnite Matinee is the leporine[Note 1] leader of Carrion Collections and, later, scout for the Blue Channel.
Personality
Midnite knows she's destined for more than the a low-rank scavenger squad. She and her mech intend to "take what they can get, even if it means stepping on people to get it."[1][2] She (reasonably) thinks she's better than everyone else.[3]
Always a cynical person, her cynicism sharpens after she lives through the Red Light.[4]
She is really into action movies, especially the kinds of B-movies that, in our universe, could be found on VHS tapes at the grocery store, with lots of one-liners and explosions.[5]
History and Involvement
During PARTIZAN, Midnite leads the Carrion Collectors.
At some point in the five years following the end of PARTIZAN, she joins Millennium Break, spurred on by the horror of having seen the Divine Law subjugating Oxbridge during "The Red Light".[4] In PALISADE, she serves as the Blue Channel's scout.[6]
Relationships
Valence
Midnite is a connection for Valence, who finds her exhausting.
Mech
She has an AdArm Pack-model light AutoHollow named Popcorn.[2]
