The Blue Channel is Broun's ship.
Appearance and Interior
The ship is almond or teardrop shaped, with added mech hangars forming a 'belly'. Its interior has a larger central "hangout" area with branching hallways leading to sleep quarters, the engine room and so on. The Blue Channel has no artificial gravity, so there are handles to navigate along the hallways, and most rooms are taller than they are wide. Pipes in the ceiling offer a guide between different areas.[1]
The Blue Channel has a rec room, described as having "lots of physical media" and "clutter without mess".[2] It is equipped with a TV, couch, and armchairs, a rhythm arcade game with switchable cassettes, a card table and chair, and snack drawers. The rec room is the site for movie nights, hangouts, and heart to hearts -- "don't talk work!"[2]
History
PARTIZAN
Valence uses their connections to procure the ship for Broun after Millennium Break takes Cruciat. In "The Red Light", Broun finds a message from Valence inside, along with the coordinates of the Nobel home world. They fly the Blue Channel throughout the "Escape Velocity" and "Operation Shackled Sun" arcs.
