Omerra Celendi

From fattwiki

Omerra Celendi is a human mage and inventor for the Shape Knights. She is part of the Bell Metal Band.

Appearance[edit | edit source]

Omerra is a tall human in her late twenties. He has light brown skin and wavy dark brown hair down to her shoulders, and wears large round glasses.

She dresses in stylish semi-formal clothes, in a style common in the Unschola Republica. When the Blackwick Group first encounter her, he’s wearing high-waisted dark green corduroy slacks, a sleeveless white blouse, and a gold half-cape, as well as a pauldron and piece of half-plate armor on the left side of her body.

He wears a Shape Knight armor gauntlet on his left arm that she invented and built, with electricity sparking around it when the joints flex.

Background[edit | edit source]

Omerra was born in the Unschola Republica, and was presumably educated there. He knows of Lyke (or at least of the incident that resulted in his expulsion).

At some point, she left the Republica, and found his way to Bell Metal Station, where she's presumably been inventing armor and weapons for other Shape Knights ever since.

Personality[edit | edit source]

Omerra is cheerful, lively and affable, with a confidence that makes him seem “here to rule any room that she’s in”. Having come from an Unschola Republica education, she has a knack for engineering and mechanics, and wants to learn more about strange things he encounters, such as the Red Zephyr. She shares this trait with Calen, and has a workbench in Calen's laboratory.

She was happy to meet Lyke, mentioning that she found the Unschola Republica “boring”, and agreed with his interest in experimentation and trying new things.

Omerra also deeply trusts his friends and coworkers in the Bell Metal Band, and was deeply upset by the loss of Fezh.

She’s horrified upon finding out that Fezh was turned into the Red Zephyr by Calen, and furious when Lyke implies that she doesn’t seem to care about Calen’s betrayal, slapping him in the face and telling him that the Republica is better without him.

Unfortunately, her lingering trust in Calen meant that he and Erm didn’t cast him out quickly enough, and he transformed the two of them into an airship as part of his promotion to the Wizard of Wheels, damning them to the same fate as Fezh.
