The Telluricist Union is a group of people once displaced by Aldomina that now work as craftspeople. They seek to make life more sustainable for everyone in the Heartland.
Its work falls under four different specialties:
- Remedial: Fixing things that are broken
- Practical: Butchering, medical care, and adjacent work
- Foundational: The creation of new tools
- Material: Finding and discovering new things in the Heartlands that can be of use to people
Three hundred members have mastery of all four categories, gaining the title of "Keen". The Union established this tradition for longevity purposes — if a bunch of members get killed, their collective knowledge will still be preserved. This was drawing on traditions such as those of the Carpana sages.
