What's there to be said about that old rat that people don't already know? A divine professor, taller than most, with an eye as much for provocative fashion as book learning. Wears a lot of purple. Knows a bunch of languages. Not much else to say.
Genburi (pronounced gen-boori) is a god of knowledge, language, and education who is part of the Boundless Conclave.
Appearance[edit | edit source]
An elderly man with a rat's head. He wears sexy, amethyst-colored armor with geometric patterning.
Temple[edit | edit source]
The temple is a large, open space with many people in it. In the center, there is a fountain with a grand statue of Genburi. In each quadrant, there are people, sitting cross-legged, attending lessons. The instructors have whiskers drawn on their faces and are teaching the academic language of the church.
In The Secret Ledger of Roseroot Hall, Lyke creates a portal to a temple of Genburi, and takes a Genburi statue as a souvenir.

The character was created from a generation of the Seventh Sanctum Deity Generator reading:
"This god of education takes the form of an elderly man with the head of a rat. He is very tall and has a masculine build. His eyes are chestnut. He is usually portrayed as wearing a sexy suit of armor that is mostly amethyst in color and which is covered in geometric designs. He can impart or take away the knowledge of languages."
