Faithful Emphasis is a Delegate member of Jade Kill, and presumably of Reunion. She takes part in an ill-fated encounter between Jade Kill, the Frontier Syndicate, and the Affliction Dust.
Appearance[edit | edit source]
As a Delegate, Faithful has a segmented robot body. Hers is made of ceramic plates that can be swapped out for different missions. When she appears in "Resentment and Frustration Pt. 2" the ceramic plates have been painted in camouflage, and she carries a sniper rifle over her shoulder.[1]
History and Involvement[edit | edit source]
Faithful leads a Jade Kill squad in Carmathen against Frontier Syndicate agents Occam Olio and Blank Shore, whose aim is to find and harvest the final Fundament node. Her squad is attacked by a team of Kesh soldiers and the ensuing firefight is interrupted by the appearance of Dust's minions, which take the form of doppelgangers of everyone involved in the fight.
Faithful and her squad are unable to grapple with the effects of the doppelgangers, which confront them with their own shortcomings, insecurities, and private fears; as a result, the Frontier Syndicate is able to harvest the final Fundament node. They do not die in the conflict, but they don't make it out of the tunnels—instead they are stuck there indefinitely, grappling with their own doppelgangers.[1]
