The rising tide hides the skeletons.

– That's what they say.

Blackwick, previously known as Eastern Folly, is the mining town in which the events of Sangfielle are based.

Location[edit | edit source]

It is located in the central north of Sangfielle. It is next to a mountainside to which prospectors travel to mine for stuff: relics from the past; inventions from the future; things from now but not here.

History[edit | edit source]

Eastern Folly existed for around 200 years.

Ever since the nuns of the Mother-Beast disappeared into the mountain, all the people, mostly miners, within the mountain were devoured once a generation, and all townsfolk alive to know what had happened were cursed to be unable to speak of what had transpired.

Events of The Ground Itself[edit | edit source]

The curse was broken a year ago and the name of the town was changed to Blackwick.
