Spoiler warning! This article contains major spoilers for The Perpetual Oratorio of Davia Pledge. Tread carefully! |
This article is under construction. Please excuse the mess.
The Perpetual Oratorio of Davia Pledge is an enormous mechanical orchestra built underneath Pledge House and extending below much of Sapodilla. It was created by Davia Pledge, who, on the night of its debut, was conducting a parallel counterpart composition in the concert hall.
Composition[edit | edit source]
Concert[edit | edit source]
Directly above the Oratorio, on the day of Open Gates, Davia Pledge would unveil a beautiful composition in the rebuilt concert hall. This was advertised throughout the city for some time beforehand.
The music was light and beautiful. Unfortunately, at some point through the night the doors were locked and it is likely that the fire from thirty years ago was summoned again, as screaming was heard within.
History[edit | edit source]
Workings[edit | edit source]
The Oratorio is a god by virtue of its ability to take 1 and make 2. Specifically, it originally drained small increments off the life force of the unfortunates trapped within it, which were soon regenerated; however, by Episode 27 it had gained the ability to absorb the energy of the sea.
