Lock and Cross Security Services is the largest mercenary unit on Palisade.[1] It is operated jointly by Maidstone Cross and Margate Lock, even following their divorce.[2] It is a subsidiary and major military wing of the Frontier Syndicate,[2] having been invited by "Mr. Frontier himself" to become the first private security contractor on the Palisade.

Some of its members are "rideshare cops" while others are more like "rideshare soldiers".[3] The cops are known to be employed in Baseline cities[4] and City City.[5]

The unit remains functional after Margate's death at the hands of Candles Penumbra.[2]
