Lock and Cross Security Services is the largest mercenary unit on Palisade.[1] It is operated jointly by Maidstone Cross and Margate Lock, even following their divorce.[2]
It is a subsidiary and major military wing of the Frontier Syndicate,[2] having been invited by "Mr. Frontier himself" to become the first private security contractor on the Palisade.
The unit remains functional after Margate's death at the hands of Candles Penumbra.[2] At least one of its members acts as a police officer in a Baseline city.[3]
