Fuck ‘em up, David.

Smack Talk fought in the Divine Clash on behalf of the OriCom in the Logistics Division and the YES! Power! utility company. He was part of a group transporting the Divine Courageous, and later moved the EDICT System onto the planet Grona.

He wore aviator shades, even under his visor while in his mech, and smoked a cigar.[1]

When Smack Talk launched his mech he flipped down his visor and says "Let's get this done."[1]

Blue-of-Heavens

Smack Talk's mech was called the Blue-of-Heaven[note 1] and was a YES! Power! Close-Range Combat Chassis, manufactured by Pallas Heavy Industry.[2] It was a large, blue mech with very wide stance. Its cockpit was situated in the upper chest and had huge heavy arms with flexible joints.[2] It had a compartments on its shoulders that slid open horizontally, giving the appearance of pauldrons. Inside the shoulders held comparatively tiny launchers that shoot glass-like, lightweight, reflective shrapnel upward and projecting a massive version of the Blue-of-Heaven that rushes towards the target, with the shrapnel. It was primarily intended to frighten but can be used as a physical attack.[note 2] [3]

Its quirks[note 3] were: Aggressive Stance, Backup Reactors, Big and Blue, and Flexible Joints.[2]

Relationships

  • David Talk was Smack Talk's brother and comrade. He cared greatly about his brother despite working for rival companies. Smack believes his brother cares deeply for his wellbeing and knows he is a better pilot than him. Smack thinks he could beat him in a fist fight.[4]
  • Memphis Longhand was Smack Talk's comrade. Smack Talk believes Memphis believes the advice he gives, even if he thinks it is stupid.[4] Smack Talk called Memphis an asshole and dick while making a point about respecting someone's work but disliking the person personally.[5]
  • Lunar Leson .[4]
  • Pigeon was part of Smack Talk's squad for their mission on Grona. Smack Talk thought a Candidate was exactly what they needed.[4]
