The ZFC-Wizard Series is a series of mechs built with the standard ZFC-WIZARD frame. The ZFC-Wizard was designed by the Zenith Fund for Columnar pilots to contend with the new Altar series developed by the Frontier Syndicate. Like other Altars, it uses Kalmeria to enhance its abilities. The Wizard series also uses stolen equiaxed technology, using organic additions as weapons. The Kalmeria in these mechs cause visual side-effects like floaters or migraine auras.[1]
ZFC-WIZARD[edit | edit source]
The ZFC-Wizard model itself is rarely seen on the battlefield. It's a boxy humanoid mech built for modular parts to be added onto its frame. It does not have special fighting capabilities on its own.
ZFC-ORB[edit | edit source]
The ZFC-Orb is a Wizard frame with a orb built around it. Panels surround it entirely, so that you cannot see the original mech inside.[2] It's designed for a tactical support role and has the ability to project an energy field shielding itself and its allies. These mechs are for commander pilots, and are slightly stronger than the Cloak, Tomb, and Stave.
ZFC-CLOAK[edit | edit source]
The ZFC-Cloak was designed for stealth and infiltration. These mechs have a cloak added to the Wizard frame that turns it invisible and shields it from radar detection. The ZFC-Cloak is equipped with two close-ranged equiaxed weapons: poisoned daggers and explosive mines. The claw-like daggers have an acidic gland engineered to coat itself in an corrosive substance. This acid can erode most metals, allowing to it infiltrate ships or other mechs. The mines are made from an explosive chemical harvested from ants within its body. [3]
ZFC-TOMB[edit | edit source]
The ZFC-TOMB has not been shown on screen but is described in the Dossier as, "the workhorse model of the Wizard, able to hold its ground defensively with a massive claymore and an arcane 'breath' weapon".
ZFC-STAVE[edit | edit source]
The ZFC-STAVE has not been shown on screen but is described in the Dossier as, "a designated marksman unit".
ZFC-TALISMAN[edit | edit source]
The ZFC-TALISMAN has not been shown on scream but is described in the Dossier as a, "swarm of hard-to-control drones, was designed especially for ace pilots who lead from the front with near-impossible acumen". It is also described as a commander class mech, meaning it is likely stronger than the Cloak, Tome, and Stave.
