The Commission of Smoke and Steel is a set of elite Ordennan military units formed as a response to the spread of undead across Hieron after the fall of Nacre. They move in small squads of three to five eradicating anything supernatural, undead or unholy. Unlike the Golden Lance, the commission is about safety rather than justice, and has no qualms about hurting innocent people if they feel it will save others.
