Becker Arbogast, or Arbogast, is an apathetic god of doctors who is part of the Boundless Conclave.
Description[edit | edit source]
Arbogast appears as a mature adult, very short, with an over-muscled build. His body is covered in fur. bone white hair worn in a style that resembles a rocky outcropping, and slitted alabaster eyes. They are usually portrayed as wearing a strange suit of armor, which incorporates abstract designs, and a ring. They carry a satchel of medicinal herbs. They are described as resembling Danny Devito.
In addition to apathy, Arbogast is rather cantankerous and behaves as if they are busy all of the time.
Appearances[edit | edit source]
In Episode 23, the party (and Lenore Voivode) visit Arbogast's temple using Lyke's spell Sanctum of the Stone Chorus. He happens to be there, and allows them to wait for healing (no lines!).
Arbogast heals Duvall's internal bleeding/melting for a bag of coins, and restores Virtue to consciousness in exchange for the Hymnal of the Mother-Beast. After a break, Lyke pays him a coach gun to ward off the Ravening Beast, receiving a potpourri pouch that "will work until it doesn't".
Temple[edit | edit source]
Arbogast's temple has the color palette and decor of an old school study, with mahogany and crown molding. There are secret compartments in the walls that are accessed by banging on a mahogany panel to pop it out. There is a sign that says "No lines", and a small bar cart.
