Hey everyone! Join Austin, Janine, Keith, and Sylvi as they embark into adventure into the fantasy world of Tableau, a new Live at the Table campaign that rolls together a number of previous LatT fantasy games into a new setting. In their first adventure, a trio of Conservatory adventurers head to a small town in the valley of the Titansteeth mountains that was recently--and mysteriously--flooded. Can magician Mana Mixup, invoker March Manera, and spy Odette Van Ives get to the bottom of it before it's too late?
Plot[edit | edit source]
Mana Mixup (Sylvi), March Manera (Keith), and Odette Van Ives (Janine), arrive in the flooded town of Pacina, talking with the food vendor Gallon to get the lay of the land. Following their tips and Mana's magic sense, they begin investigating an ancient public bath built by the Chimeric Empire.
In the baths, the adventurers encounter a pair of mind-controlled slimes blocking their path. After evading them, they discover a backpack with an invitation from Viscount Vichel Verona as well as an apple which temporarily causes Odette to lose her ability to speak. With the help of March Manera's detective spirit Jonno, the Conservatory agents learn that the slimes were once enslaved by the Chimeric empire.
Deeper in the baths, the Conservatory agents meet Kevynn Sevynn, a vivant hired by the Viscount to clear the bath of slimes and members of the Priory, a religious order which collaborated with the slimes by providing dirty bathwater for them to consume and clean. Mana Mixup convinces Kevynn that the Viscount tricked him into causing the flood by killing the slimes.
He agrees to take the Conservatory agents to the other members of his party, Alakastra and Kairitara, who are preparing a ritual to bring the slime god Translucent Eminence under their control. Though they attempt diplomacy, the Conservatory agents are unable to convince the other two vivants to give up control of the baths, which will serve as a place of power (respawn point) for them within The Grand Tableau MMO. The adventurers prepare for battle alongside their new ally Kevynn.
