Coriolis 'Cori' Sunset is a follower of Devotion and enthusiastic new member of the crew of the Blue Channel.
Appearance
Coriolis is a "tiny girl with pink hair".[1] She has three sets of small angel wings, one on her back, one on her head, and one on her arms, which she grew at some point. Her flight suit is purple, with a design mimicking the nervous system.
Personality
Cori is cheerful and excitable. In her first combat scene in PALISADE 01: Into the World Pt. 1 she is eager to do a good job and is seen rushing headlong into combat.
Tenets
- You are a shield. Leave none undefended while you still stand.
- You are a sword. Strike down our adversaries with impunity.
- You are a beacon. Your first priority is to spread the reach of Devotion no matter the cost.
History and Involvement
Cori originally hails from the Twilight Mirage. She is a recent addition to the crew of the Blue Channel. Her first combat engagement alongside the crew starts in "Into the World Pt. 1". Although she is not from Palisade, she has "a lot of family" living there.[1] Her father, Griesel Sunset, lives on the Isle of the Broken Key.
Mech
Cori pilots a Chariot Mk II, which, like others of the same model, takes its power from the blessing of Devotion. It does not have another name and is simply called Chariot Mk II.
The Chariot Mk II is an angular mech with no feet. Its limbs end in points, inspired by Orbital Frames from Zone of the Enders. It has three rotating halos nested one inside the other, emanates veins of purple-silver light that match Cori's flight suit, and wields a morning star and shield. Out of combat, the Chariot Mk II wears a cape, which floats off and behind it when it engages with an enemy.
Cori controls the Chariot Mk II using her own halo.
