“
If Carmine Bight wants to put the fear of god into a target, they send Captain Slinger.”
Iklins Slinger or Iclans Slinger[Note 1] is a pirate captain and the sword arm of Carmine Bight.[1] She specializes in naval tactics.[2]
Appearance[edit | edit source]
She looks like Arundhati Roy.[3]
Personality[edit | edit source]
She is rough around the edges, "fire and fury," and could probably kick your ass.[3]
History and Involvement[edit | edit source]
Slinger is the captain of her own ship.
She takes takes part in the raid of a BIS speedboat that is in hot pursuit of a vessel transporting the Usher of Truth to the Witch in Glass. The encounter ends well for the pirates: they take Facer Canceller hostage, take out the other BIS operatives, and acquire loot that Slinger then brings to Skelton Knaggs for distribution to the crew.[1]
Not long thereafter, she brings the Blue Channel a piece of treasure - a crate of expensive electronic components salvaged from destroyed BIS ships - as a gift.[3]
Relationships[edit | edit source]
She is Narmine Te'ketch's vanguard and first mate.[1] She is also fiercely loyal to Skelton Knaggs[2] and she attends at least some Cause council meetings with him or in his stead.[4]
Appears in[edit | edit source]
- PALISADE 11: The Wheels Turning Pt. 2
- PALISADE 13: Worth the Trouble Pt. 2
- PALISADE 48: A Palette of Colors Pt. 3
Footnotes[edit | edit source]
- ↑ Jack spells her name as Iclans in "The Wheels Turning Pt. 2" but it appears as Iklins in the episode's dossier.
