Rudy Smails, or Rudy Smale,[note 1] is a member of Millennium Break who has been installed with Jade Kill in Joyous Guard. He often spends his free time in the Crown of Glass, hanging with the boys. He participates in Jade Kill's succesful defense of the Crown of Glass against Lucia Whitestar's forces.

Rudy and the boys don't tend to worry about the horrors when they're hanging out at the bar together.[1]
History and Involvement[edit | edit source]
He and the boys are playing beer pong in the Crown of Glass when a call comes in from Joyous Guard that Lucia Whitestar's forces are attacking. They emerge from the bar, ready to fight, and hold off the enemy at the gates long enough for more backup from Joyous Guard to arrive. Those reinforcements launch a pincer attack from behind, successfully defending against Lucia's forces.[1]

- There are seven boys. Rudy's known most of them for a long time, since before he came to Palisade, but one of them is new.[1]
