Plough

The Plough is a humanoid Altar model designed by the Blessed Armory of the Divine Consecration. It is used by Stel Nideo.

The Plough is big and thick, with a large halo behind its head. It looks like a Baroque statue of a muscular worker in maroon, black and gold. In its chest is its "stained-glass cockpit"; the stained glass depicts the galaxy, with a red circle symbolizing Partizan at its centre. It has an angelic look to it that is not dissimilar from the Devotees' Chariot.

It wields a massive arbalest that shoots harpoons as well as a bulldozer-sized digging claw, both of which can be used to set up new Nidean settlements on Palisade.

While its primary purpose for Stel Nideo is as a frontline unit, the Plough's weapons are also useful in destroying "old" or "neglected" locations on Palisade and turning them into Nideo settlements. In this way the Plough serves a propagandistic function: it symbolizes that the "soldier" and "settler" are one.
