Resonance is a Nidean surveillance Divine that pervades the east coast of Palisade. It is posed as a parental figure -- "the watchful guardian, doting caregiver, and ardent supporter of Nideo's colonial efforts on Palisade."[1] It offers helpful utilities such as wake-up alarms, health check-ins, and safety alerts to Principality settlers.[2]
History and Involvement
It was first mentioned in "The Witch in the Glass Pt. 2" by the Figure in Bismuth, who said they once had a devotional practice of journaling in honor of Resonance.
In PALISADE, it is mechanically a pillar of the Bilateral Intercession's Nideo Division. In the opening to "Seize the Chance Pt. 1" it narrates a message to Baseline residents warning them about Millennium Break's recent terrorist actions. Later in the same arc one of its drones appears in the game proper, identifying and tracking Eclectic Opposition while he is in Baseline-C.[3]
