This page is for the character. For the song of the same name, see Inside & Outside.

It seems that what you are talking about is an old two-person situation. I’ve seen many in my time; each of them have involved two people.

Red Jack is a boisterous red oni who thrives on social interaction. He has a deep friendship with his horse, Ace. He has lived and traveled for a long time, but comes into contact with the Forest Party while living with the mothkin, weavers, and young oni of Old Man's Chin. He also tells the party a story of his time in Marielda, when he was in Red House as a traveling publican, running a makeshift bar in the street, during the season three holiday special.

In Velas, Red Jack is a boogeyman figure in children's folklore.

Red Jack seems to spawn oni children like mushrooms.
