Chimera's Lantern is one of the moons of Palisade.
Chimera's Lantern looks like a wasp's nest or a "fucked up asteroid". It occasionally lights up like a lantern at night for reasons unknown, which is a source of numerous folk sayings and ghost stories.[1]

It first lit 5,000 years ago during the embarkation of the early Principality from Palisade. It is said to have "called on the tides to lift themselves up to flood the nascent Principality and harm them." It also empowered people who were trying to fight against the Principality by letting them become "the best versions of themselves", a combination of self-expression and epic heroism.[2]
