Carhaix is the northernmost city in Palisade's Bontive Valley. It is currently under the control of Stel Nideo.
History
Carhaix was founded by the Divine Principality 5,000 years before the events of PALISADE, on the site of a battlefield where the Principality destroyed what remained of the Advent Group. It was one of the first major settlements to be founded by the Principality. Once the Principality left Palisade, Carhaix fell under the control of the Fabreal Duchy.[1]
At the beginning of PALISADE, Carhaix is under the control of Stel Nideo and the Divine Crusade.[1] Grey Pond is able to take Carhaix (and the entire northeast of the Bontive Valley) for the Cause during a controversial maneuver in which the Blue Channel is used as bait to draw Nideo's forces out,[2] but it is later retaken in a siege led by Crusade.[3]
