The Chariot Mk. 2 is a humanoid Tier III Altar commonly piloted by Devotees, including Coriolis Sunset. Like its predecessor, it is fueled by the power of Devotion.
Appearance[edit | edit source]
It is an angular mech with pointed shoulders, pointed protrusions at the end of its legs instead of feet, and three rotating, concentric halos. It is covered in vein-like lights that give off a purple-silver glow and wears a big cape that can be cast off when it begins combat. Like the Mk. 1, the Chariot Mk. 2 carries a morningstar mace and a shield.[1] It also has a ruin blade.[2]
Coriolis Sunset's Chariot Mk. 2 has a cockpit interior that looks like the "Atomic Purple" Gameboy Color, a clear purple with lots of visible wiring. It's a Y2K-style cool teen aesthetic.[2]
Abilities[edit | edit source]
The Chariot Mk. 2 can go into overdrive by draining its pilot of their blood. This is part of what it means to harness Devotion's power.[3] In doing so, it runs the risk of killing the pilot, but the blood sacrifice trade-off is more efficient and less frequently lethal than in the Chariot Mk. 1.[4]
