The Kestral White is a vast Bilateral Intercession warship and the flagship of Palisade's Viceroy, Kenneth Marian Colver.
Appearance
The Kestral White is shaped like (and named after) a falcon. It has white tips where the feathers on a falcon would be, but instead of feathers, the tips are an array of heavy cannons. Some of the feathers can also form into a laser grid shield that absorbs and redirects attacks.
Involvement
Tenn Alpenglow arrives at the Isle of the Broken Key on the Kestral White during the Tide of Embarkation festival in order to demand the return of Kenneth Marian Colver, who he believes Violet Cove has kidnapped.[1]
Colver is returned to the Kestral White safely, but he demands the eradication of the settlement regardless, so the Kestral White lays siege to the region.[2] It is successfully fought back by the Blue Channel and Violet Cove, and ultimately sent plummeting into the ocean by a devastating blow from Phrygian.[3] Its destruction precipitates Stargrave Elcessor arming the system's stellar combustor.[4]

A strange version of the Kestral White is one of the many parties going after the Diadem Gravtrain control unit in Carmathen. It is a "living Iconoclastic being", "the Kestral more than it is the ship called the Kestral White", as the ship was consumed by the Iconoclasts after crashing into the ocean. The Kestral flies the flag of the Crown of Glass and is aligned with the Witch. It radiates the scent of burnt oil.[5]
